There's not much evidence for actually raising intelligence, but there's a whole lot that suggests you can easily torpedo your effective day-to-day intelligence, and even cause a long term decline via shitty lifestyle choices. Mainly I could personally improve the quality of my own posts which might have an effect since I post all the time. Idk if I'd be able to stick to it but it might be worth a shot.

Right. Obviously we're not gonna take any like, punitive action or anything, but I don't see anything particularly bad about *promoting* more substantive discussion. Shit-posting is kind of the norm now, which is fine if that's what everyone wants to do, but I think we might generate more interesting conversation and be more active if we were actually talking about shit that's a bit more interesting. A big part of that is probably just making more interesting threads with more original thinking instead of just dropping links and one liner stuff.

Absent would have to pay us to post, then. Most sites like that have tons of short term either "damn wimminz r ebil" and sayin were all rapists" or "I suck and can't get responses on OKC" posting. Only so many times you can tell some noob to grow a pair, get out of mom's basement and stop looking at the internet (as much)and get out there and shit and not give a fuck just do whatever and make plans.
That kind of posting and articles are like Cosmo. You know, the housewife mag at the check out counter? "How to bag your man X ways" or "X things men wished you knew". Its the same article with the same BS. Year after year. Just like a high school or college paper.
Manosphere is the "housewife mag" reading for the mysanthopic and bitter.
