Yurp. Through national syndicalism, which was Sorel's syndicalism mixed with a form of nationalism that wanted to take it a step further and basically worship the state. Thus known as National Syndicalism and spread to other areas.

Is it me, or were the french responsible for a shitload of ideologies both good and bad? Lots of radical stuff 19th-20th century mostly trace back to the French.

Wow that's too much to answer, I might do it later.

Also in response to lunas political compass placement, I'm in the purple region (bottom right), final third closes to bottom line, but not touching the bottom, and although to the right of the centre line, slightly towards the centre.

French Revolution, Paris Commune and all that left a lot on their psyche. The so-called "utopian socialists" were mostly French, though the more practical community builders were in the United States - Robert Owen (Welsh-born Scottish industrialist emigrant to the USA... yeah) and Josiah Warren.

Proudhon somehow became influential in French fascist circles. Probably because of his idea of the "agricultural-industrial federation" appealing to corporatist/guild socialist/distributist types. Even though his philosophy is the very antithesis of fascism. He rabidly hated the state like no other.

Daniel De Leon was an American socialist leader who came up with his own philosophy that's practically identical to national syndicalism, except without nationalism (in the sense of pride, not nation-statism), per se.

My political compass would be lunas result mirrored over x-axis. But a little closer to the y-axis.

I'm slightly mad at myself for not getting -10 on Y. Well, I guess that's realism.
