I've returned from the HSS Forums

My old username was HighSchoolFailure1337, in case anyone might be wondering. I'd spent all 4 of my high school years on that forum, and now it's gone for no reason. There were no serious arguments or anything of the sort that caught my notice, why did it shut down? No offense, but SoulRiser didn't exactly give a valid reason.

Also, one more thing: Please, for the love of all that is sacred, change the security question to something that isn't math related - I am a dyscalculiac, as are many other people who visit this website.

Thanks for your time.

Soulriser didn't learn from any of her mistakes, and ignored all good advice. She lets children play stupid emotional manipulation games, and let victim bullies run rampant causing her to have a meltdown.

Re: I've returned from the HSS Forums

That's something I should have done a long time ago.. thanks for reminding me.
PHP sucks. But. Done.

if you are 1337 af, can you help us write a better forum software? We're not sure if it should be in OCaml/Ocsigen. But OCaml has too much cruft (overcomplicated syntax etc), and Ocsigen has too much XML.

I guess there's Ur/Web. That would be fucking cool, I think. I don't know much about it.

Re: I've returned from the HSS Forums

I somehow doubt a dyscalculiac would be drawn to programming. Although I have been suggested by my former math teacher to be one, although I can work out problems in my head, but apparently not write them down. Weird.

Anyways welcome. SR just became more and more unstable and started playing games and shutting down forums, banning people for the peskiest reasons etc.

Re: I've returned from the HSS Forums

I bet it will die out because everybody will (hopefully) get themselves a life and will then leave. So far, that's exactly what people have done.
Or maybe we'll all be old farts being slightly nostalgic about SS

Re: I've returned from the HSS Forums

Ya I guess I mean the main thing I'm lacking is a good job but I'm working and in the process of getting a new one. I'm dating and shit but it's getting into relationship territory I think. I have a big social circle, granted it's not very stable, but who's is? People come and go. I feel a lot happier rn than ever probably, although I gotta admit I'm sorta waiting for the other shoe to drop. We'll see. I still enjoy posting here even when my life is full / busy. Plus when I get my career sorted hopefully I'll have more time to post n work on hobby projects here.
